Older hotel but well maintained, clean, friendly helpful staff, and great location - near restaurants, bars, live entertainment, and the public beach. Pool overlooking their private sand beach on the inlet from the bay.

We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the room, the view of the water from our room and the cleanliness of the property. The staff were ALL very nice, helpful and welcoming. We only stayed one night but wished for more time! It is an older property, with one elevator and ice machine, but I would stay there again.

The private stretch of beach was amazing! A manatee and three dolphins swam within inches of us! You couldn’t beat the views and amenities for the price! Plus the staff was very friendly and helpful! The housekeeper even recognized us when we returned hours after checkout to pickup our luggage and returned a charger we’d forgotten in the room.

It's an older smaller hotel than most on the beach but the room was clean and the staff was very friendly. While they don't offer delivery service to your room for coffee, towels, etc., you can pick them up at the front desk. Would stay there again!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The staff were gracious and welcoming. The hotel is basic but a great value and includes on site parking, a private beach and beach towels. There is a 7 Eleven across the street and several restaurants are within walking distance. I especially liked how we weren't nickel and dimed like the last hotel we stayed at a few doors down with added resort and parking fees. We could hear the band from the hotel next door but the music was great and the a/c drowned it out. We look forward to returning.

Every summer we stay a few nights at the Gulf View the staff are very helpful and we love the beach access and the pool is open 24/7. Very great location!
