"Everything was perfect during our 2 night stay from Nov 7-9. We went during low season and got upgraded, so we got a balcony with Matterhorn views and a mini bar with a fridge, plates, eating utensils, glasses, kettle and a Nespresso machine…came in handy since only one restaurant was open during our stay. The spa was so relaxing, the Onsen can get crowded but we just waited for our turn and sometimes we had it to ourselves, the yurts were adorable, love their tea, bathrobes, and slippers. ...

"My room has a balcony that is facing Matterhorn. It is spacious and it looks three times better from the picture. It also has a lift/elevator if it helps. Overall it is a great place to stay. Also it is 15-16 mins walk from the train, a little climb to the hill but for me who is not that athletic i can still manage A little downside was, when I first enter the room, and check the toilet there were f*c*s stains inside the toilet bowl. Good to have some double check for the housekeeping team"

From being welcomed after 30 hours of travel with a glass of white wine, to the friendly breakfast staff, to helping me cobble together a nourishing dinner after a relaxing spa service…the staff at this hotel truly set it apart! "Wonderful, quaint family owned hotel. Everything you need with the kindest staff. We checked in late night- be sure to mention it to the staff and they helped us with so many details in our short stay. "I've been in so many great hotels in my life but this one is no doubt one of the best ones I've ever been! They were extremely kind with us. For my birthday they have prepared a table with a birthday card and decor and since we had to leave so early the next morning, they have prepared a bag with sandwiches, yogurt, fruits and drinks for the trip.
