"We absolutely loved Hotel Guerrato. Amazing location by the canal and local market. The included breakfast each morning was wonderful. The only complaint would be that it was a little loud until around 12 am or so from the bars below, but we were so tired from exploring that it didnt matter too much. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time here!"

"The hotel is in a really convenient location (a very short walk from the Water bus stop). The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hotel has a bit of luxury about it. The staff were welcoming from the first minute and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast waiters even remembered we were the ones for no coffee!! We had a slight issue with the room. A squealing noise was coming from an area by the heater. We raised it with reception (at gone 10pm) and they came straight up to investigate. It wasn't something that they could fix without maintenance so immediately went to see if they could find another room. Found us another room for the rest of the stay which was a slightly upgraded room too. Their recommendations for restaurants were very good as well. "

"Great location and wonderful staff! The hotel is a bit worn out and the rooms are comparable to those on a cruise ship. You won't visit here to stay in the hotel, for sure. We had an issue with our bathroom and it was sorted quickly and seamlessly. It's VERY easy to find this hotel- just take Vaparetto Line 1 to "Rialto" and it's right there. From experience, other hotels in Venice can be very hard to find :)"

"Superb location. Our room had a double aspect overlooking the canal. We could watch the Gondolas all day! Bathroom a bit small and shower over bath wasn’t great. Breakfast was terrible. Very busy, hot food was limited and tasteless, poor coffee, toaster didn’t work, etc. However, the service and location made up for it. Lots of nearby cafes and bars that are relatively inexpensive if you stand at the bar. "
