"Pros - Gorgeous setting in a pretty garden with a lovely pool. Very peaceful with no traffic noise - great for light sleepers. If you need to head out sightseeing before breakfast time, they can provide a breakfast box. Our balcony was spacious and came with a drying rack which came in really handy. Staff are helpful. The bed only has sheets but if you request a blanket they provide one straight away. And itโ€™s just a minuteโ€™s walk to the beach, and surrounded by cafes, laundry services and beauty therapy spas. Cons - We booked a standard twin room on Expedia 11 months in advance, and although the booking conditions stated a twin room wasnโ€™t guaranteed, we were disappointed that with such a long booking period the hotel didnโ€™t have any twins available. I tried to get a rollaway bed instead, as the Expedia advertisement said the room came with rollaway/extra beds for free, but the hotel said there was a charge for them. The Expedia ad also said the room had a minibar and electric kettle, but it did not. I donโ€™t know if this is Expediaโ€™s error or the hotelโ€™s, but I mention it so people who do need a minibar, kettle or rollaway bed have realistic expectations. There was also a small hole in the door to the balcony which I stuffed with toilet paper so mosquitos couldnโ€™t get in - that worked well, so if you get the same room as us you should try that."

"Look no further The Lovina is the place to stay for genuine hospitality and an experience you will carry home with you. The service was exceptional, but it was the people who made our stay unforgettable. Efa deserves special recognition. The warmth, patience, and genuine care Efa showed us made us feel truly valued, never like just another reservation. Efa was one of the biggest reasons this trip meant so much to us. Efa and Indra did far more than drive us around Bali. They shared their stories, answered our countless questions, and taught us about Balinese culture, religion, traditions, and everyday life. They helped us understand their home rather than simply see it. Those conversations turned a beautiful holiday into something deeply meaningful. I genuinely feel I grew as a person through this experience. Thank you also to Boy, Buda, Eddy, and the kitchen team for helping make our stay so special. Lovina will always have a place in my heart, and The Lovina is somewhere I want to return to again and againโ€”not only for the destination, but for the people and how they made us feel. To anyone still comparing hotels: stop looking. For us, The Lovina was more than a place to stay; it became one of the most memorable parts of Bali. Efa and Indra, thank you for making that possible."

"The front desk staff are extremely friendly and eager to make your stay wonderful. The property is really lovely. This is not a place for swimming in the ocean or snorkeling. The food in the restaurant is quite good, and breakfast is fresh and abundant. Really lovely staff!!!"

"Favoloso hotel nella zona di Bedugul, ideale per visitare il tempio o per vedere le cascate. Molto curato ho giardino, con un divertente spettacolo di luci. Ottimo il ristorante, ci abbiamo mangiato ogni sera. Eccellente lo staff ed i consigli per visitare i dintorni con il driver consigliato. Le camere sono moderne, curate e dotate di tutti i comfort."
