"Very spartan. No decor. Old towels. No view (its behind other buildings though near the view promenade.) However, staff VERY helpful. And best restaurant in city, Nuccio, is close. I would stay again but expect nothing fancy."

There is a paid parking lot across the street, or you could hunt for free parking in the área. . If you come by train, the station is one block away. No extras. Recommended if you want what I just describes. "

"This is a unique hotel with a strong ecology theme. The rooms are beautiful, the service was very good. The dinner was a bit overcooked which was a shame. My partner had a birthday a couple of days earlier and they gave her a nice treat. Be careful, the directions I got from Google Maps were not very good - not the hotels fault."

"Would you like a gracious stay overlooking the Valley of the Temples in an old fashioned, beautifully outfitted high ceiling room facing the sky with a great breakfast and gentle hosts? By all means try Villa Lumia. I would go back in a minute. Breakfast is splendid and just up the Hill is a restaurant - Trattoria Templi - with excellent seafood and pasta. "
