"We stayed at 4 different hotels in Japan and this one was our favourite. We were grateful to check in earlier (1pm) rather than 3pm. The hotel has a reception that is manned early in the morning to late in the evening. It is about 10 mins walk to Kyoto Station and the area outside the hotel is quiet. "Hotel was clean and staff was very nice. The public onsen for guests upstairs was very convenient, along with umbrellas for guests to use if it was wet outside. We were able to send our luggage to our next hotel in the lobby. Laundry in the hotel was free, but there are only 4 small washing machines. The hotel instructions tell you to dry your load in half. It was very busy at night and people were fighting for machines. The dryers are slow at drying so take that into account. Overall great...

"The staff were really helpful. The location is close to Kyoto station and a metro line and easily walkable to the more touristy bits. The deluxe room upgrade one day was worth it but normal room was also great"

"Stayed here about a week with my brother and I must say this was a fantastic choice. Located less than 5 minutes away from the Gojo train station, it is right next to alot of amenities so you can walk or commute to wherever you need to get. It's also one stop away from Kyoto station, so long distance travel is alot easier. Being an aparthotel it's larger than that standard Japanese hotel which was great.
