The onsen is superb—spanning multiple floors—and the property offers a number of thoughtful extras, including complimentary ramen from 9 to 11 p.m., which was a fun and welcome touch. The aesthetic is great and they have a beautiful temple across the street to visit and in the mornings usually a small market in front of the temple too. "

"Nice small hotel 750m from JR Kyoto. Room was Hollywood Twin . Big enough for lower than avg price for Kyoto hotel. Clean, daily servicing if wanted, Free coffee, tea, ice drinks as much as like. Great friendly front desk staff, who mostly spoke English. Across road from 7/11 and many restaurants in area - wagu beef, Thai, Nepali, Japanese and vegeterian. Close to bus routes and subway across the bridge."
