Hotels near Hakusan Shrine

"Was really disappointed in this hotel when we arrived as the pictures are very different to what the rooms actually look like. The area isn’t exactly family friendly either considering it backs onto the strip of red light clubs. We stayed for 6 nights and our room wasn’t cleaned. Towels had a bad smell. The staff were friendly and helpful which was one of the few good things it had going for it. Overall was disappointing and would not recommend."

"Room was spacious, I've read reviews saying the room is hot. We had the 4 people room with the loft bed. We traveled in April, temperature outside was in the highs 10s and the Aircon was sufficient to cool the room. There's a fridge and safe in the room. Only downside (compared to most hotels in Japan) is that they don't have a washing machine in the room. Otherwise, everything you need is there such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, Toothbrush. Very convient with the substation being less than 5 min walk with a few convenient store. Staff was very pleasant and allowed us to store our luggage in the morning before check-in. Though we didn't use the cafe, looking at the price it's very reasonable and has a good Google review. We would stay there again"

"The location for Hotel Gracery was very convenient. You are walking distance to the subway and to places of interest. The comfort double room is small so I would definitely get at comfort twin room for more room. I would definitely request more pillows and blanket."

"Really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are tiny, but we didn't mind. You can do laundry for free and they have drinks you can get any time outside of breakfast hours, also free. Very close to JR train station, so very easy to get around Tokyo from here. We enjoyed the view from the rooftop terrace."

"Very clean small shoe box side Tokyo hotel with impressively great service by the stuff, Rather have more walking space than strange and unnecessary large bed - 2 full size bed side by side. Because it was small and no common bath/spa, I will not return to this property."

"This hotel was my FAVORITE of my entire trip and I stayed at 5 different hotels in a 2 week trip. Hotel Niwa Tokyo is a beatiful quaint hotel tucked away from the chaos. The room was small but I loved it more, it helped with decompressing after being in the mayhem (hahaha) of fellow traverls & locals in a big city. The amenenties were amazing, they have this quiet outdoor area with chairs to decompres by the fountain while enjoying a freshly brewed hot tea or coffee (limited hours). There is also indoor seating with the view of the same outdoor area. After a long day of walking 16,000+ steps you could sit in the quiet & dark room with full body massage chairs. There is a work out room with weights, and laundry room which was so helpful. You'll need to use the dryer a little longer, the washing machines are already preloaded with laundry detergent and paid with a credit card (no coins needed). There is a water & ice station near the laundry room which i used everyday to fill up my refillabe water bottle. You seriously need to walk around with your trash all day that's why I took my own bottle. My only regret is that I didn't buy a set of pajamas that they provided during my stay. The pajamas were so comfortable and breathable. I'll just have to go back next year. :) Love this hotel and will definitely go back!!!! "

"Great stay here. The hotel is well set up with plenty of shower blocks that were always clean. The onsite restaurant was really convenient for the mornings to get the day going. Room was clean and had everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again "

"Nice and clean. Fantastic staff (as is usually the case in Japan). Couldn't ask for a better location -- property itself has a lot to explore, and it's 2 mins from Suidobashi station (love that station too). Beds are very comfortable and views are great on the upper floors. Really good on-site amenities. There are only 5 laundry units for 1000+ rooms. It can be a battle but you'll have better luck during off hours (since we were awake anyway due to the time change). Elevators will bake you alive in the mornings on warm, sunny days (unless there's AC that just wasn't on during our stay). Again, the service is fantastic everywhere, but in particular the server at the bar on the 6th floor is absolutely adorable and the sweetest thing ever. Channel 11 tells you when the breakfast buffet is crowded which comes in handy. The 43rd floor is also great for breakfast if you want a more relaxed, sit-down experience (we didn't try the traditional Japanese breakfast place). Having these included was a nice bonus."
