"Absolutely beautiful outside space, a well kept garden with superb views over the Menai Strait. Room was lovely, very clean and well maintained; the bed was comfortable and we had a great balcony (again, with views over the Strait). The shower was ok, just about warm enough. The staff were friendly and the service was very good (special mention to Nathan, whether first thing at breakfast or serving us at the bar, unfailingly polite and on the ball). "It was a really nice older property. The staff were all lovely and helpful, they had suggestions of where to go and what to see. The breakfast was really good and there was plenty of choice. The dining room, was roomy and had a great views. We had dinner there a couple of nights, although there wasn't a massive choice, we enjoyed what we ordered. The room was nice and clean, but a bit dated. It really is in a great location. Very easy for Anglesey."

"Room was pristinely clean. Beds were comfortable. Nice en suite bathroom with good shower. Facilities to make a hot drink were replenished on request. Staff were friendly without being intrusive. Didn't eat supper in the restaurant because veggie options were limited. Breakfast was awesome. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone wanting accommodation in the area. Very close to Penrhyn castle and Bangor centre."

"I stayed here in a family room with my partner, son and dog and we had a great time. Check-in was seamless. The owners greeted us so nicely and made such a fuss of my dog. Immediately a very warm and homely feel. We are already planning our return. 5* for everything apart from property condition/facilities as it is rather dated- HOWEVER, everywhere is spotless. "

"We used Snowdonia Mountain Lodge as an overnight rest stop near to a family gathering. We were all really happy with the accommodation, and it was better than we would have expected for the price we paid. Everything was clean, warm, dry and comfortable. Also, there is a small fridge-freezer in the family apartment, which we didn't realise, but could be really useful to know for someone reading this review. "We enjoyed our short stay. The house is big, with a garden with swings etc our child and we loved, a decked terrace to enjoy the views, dedicated barbecue area etc. Spacious bedrooms. The beach and town centre is only a short walk away. It was great to have all the essentials made available. Hope we can return one day with our extended family! "
