"Very friendly staff. Our room was in the main building up more stairs from the entrance. We were on the top floor. He took my suitcase and carried it up 4 flights of stairs. Lovely family room with fantastic views. The bath was wonderful! Complimentary waters daily and biscuits topped up. Rooms can be serviced daily. Weather was very hot outstde - all the rooms were very warm as it’s an old building with no air con. Old building but very well maintained and furnished well. We slept with the window wide open and curtains open. Breakfast was nice but too hot to eat. Option to have egg with the avocado would have been nice but they couldn’t do that. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone who has mobility issues or unable to climb many stairs. They do mention this when booking. I’d stay there again Thank you to all the stagg"

"On the original email, check in was supposed to be between 3-10pm. We arrived at 3.30 to find someone very flustered and we were told to come back after 5 because the rooms hadn't been cleaned. We came back after 5 to find a key with our name on it, and proceeded to find our room alone. There seemed to be no-one on site other than another guest. The bar area was locked and closed up. The room was ok, beds were comfortable and seemed clean. Bathroom floor seemed ready to collapse and the main light/ extractor fan in the bathroom wasn't working, so we had to shower in very dim light. The next morning, we searched the downstairs area to find someone to check out. Didn't stay for breakfast because we had to be out early. When we found someone, they were friendly enough. In fact the person who turned us away the day before was friendly, but not many staff around, which made it interesting when we couldn't get into our room at first because one of the two keys didn't work. It made us think, who would have helped? Where was everyone? Very eery! Moelfre is a beautiful place, the B&B had amazing views."

"Having stopped at this hotel before, we knew it would be good. Rooms are large and decorated to a good standard. The staff were very friendly and helpful and food was also good. Only one small negative for me, was the mattress. If either me or my partner moved slightly, it would move the other person, almost like a water bed, which disrupted sleep a bit. The previous room we’d stopped in had a better mattress"

"We arrived on a Thursday and where amazed at the Chateau's architecture, the staff where very welcoming and the room had a fantastic view of the Menia Strait, we looked at the sample menu the staff told us to download but it didn't really appeal to us so we ate at the Four Crowns ( recommended) later we retired to or room for a restful night, the breakfast was very nice though, unfortunately the following night wasn't so restful, there was a reception for - I'm guessing a Wedding, the live music started at 8pm and lasted until 3.20am, I didn't get any sleep until turned 4am, this has completely ruined the stay at the Chateau and won't be returning, at over £330 a night to stay here the bear minimum I would expect is sleep, I think it's just bad management as we were not warned there would be noise, I think the Chateau needs to dedicate the entire building to Weddings so the only people disrupted are the wedding guests themselves and not other paying guests"

"Best hotel ever!!! I found this little nice hotel by chance as I was running a race close by and boy if I liked it! The staff is really nice, the room was big, super comfy and with all you could need. Breakfast is top notch. This is indeed a place I would recommend and I will definitely be back. if I have to find something slightly negative is the Wi.Fi. doesn't work very well, but this is really a minor inconvenience unless you solely rely on that for working"
