"Had a pleasant one night stay here. The room was small but charming and comfortable, shower was excellent, and bed was just right. We stayed on the 1st floor and had access to the roof terrace which was an unexpected bonus. We could not hear either the bar or restaurant below."

"The owners Carol and Max were friendly and welcoming. The unit was all we needed for a short stay and nice to be in a semi-rural setting. Heat pump provided the heating we needed when cold overnight and in the morning. Need to move a few things around to make space for making breakfast, however is workable. :-) "

"We were running late and couldnt arrive until after reception closed. No worries. We were told the key would be left under the mat. And there it was. A pleasant and clean apartment with views across Hawke’s Bay. 15 minute walk into the city centre along the waterfront. Similar distance in the other direction to shops and restaurants. "
