"A quiet location and a spacious apartment, with very good beds. Kitchen equipment was good and catered for 5 as advertised. Easy access from car park. It was advertised as Garden View and that is true, but the garden needs maintenance. The unit was a little bit dated with minor maintenance required. Very comfortable, but not quite up to the advertised "Deluxe". We asked for late checkout and never got an answer. Also asked if there was an external power point so as to charge our plugin hybrid....

"We were a little skeptical about staying in a Safari Tent but it was an amazing experience. The ace was exceptionally clean. The electric blanket kept us nice and toasty and we woke to the sound of birds chirping. Overall it was a great experience and my wife said it was the best stay yet."

"The stay at the Captain at the bay is awesome especially the bath tub is just beside the bed. After a long day of travel on the great ocean road, it is a best place to relax. The breakfast was nice and the hotel staff is friendly."

"Room was not clean dirty towels cups and unmade bed. Property owners were not available. It was the worst experience. We had to book else where and now no refund is being processed we are completely disgusted in the service from Expedia and the Rayville boat house it’s unacceptable. We drove 3 hours to find a room unusable and then not being able to get in contact with the owner then they contact back hours later after we had to find somewhere else. Worst experience. "

"The room is large, clean and comfortable, with a double sink and a separate shower and toilet. The only gripe I have is that there is no door to the shower, so it got a bit cold when we stepped out of the warm shower. There is a cozy lounge on the ground floor next to the reception, where complimentary tea, coffee, drinking chocolate and water are available throughout the day. We made full use of these as they saved us the hassle of boiling water in the kettle provided in the room. There are also complimentary washers and dryers with detergent provided as well. The young man at the reception (sorry I didn't get your name) is friendly and helpful. The staff also sent us directions and driving information which proved useful in finding our way to the motel. All in, a solid place to stay in."
