"The desk staff welcomed us with smiles, advice and gummy frogs. Our room was large and beautifully decorated. The garden restaurant was quiet and comfortable with a menu and chef that earned a Michelin award. The cozy bar was maned by a bartender who was clearly a Professional. Location was walking distance to Old Town, shopping and a historical German beer house. It’s called the Palace for a reason. 5 Star all the way."

"Everything was great. Getting to OST Bahnhof with stroller is a bit of a pain because of construction. Without a stroller it would be easy."

"This hotel was wonderful for our Munich stay. Literally steps from the Munich Ost train station it couldn't have been more convenient when arriving by train and leaving to the airport by S8. Clean, quiet, modern with friendly staff. Neighborhood has many great restaurants within walking distance. And they will sell you a public transport day pass ticket at the front desk for the tram that stops at the front door."

"The property is overpriced and description is inaccurate. The one bedroom studio is basically a hotel room. The kitchen is so small that you can’t cook. Just good for coffee. The sofa bed was trrrible. The king size mattress is lumpy and hard. The communication with staff is terrible. No one picks up the phone and responds to messages. When you do go to reception to discuss they are condescending and dismissive. They give you the extra coffee pods but make a big song and dance about giving it...

"Hotel is surrounded by lots to eat. Also close to public transportation with a short ride to the city center. The zoo in Munich is also a highlight. It’s only a 10 minute bus ride or just a 20-30 minute walk through the city and lots of parks. Hotel was clean and well stocked. Quiet area, AC worked great. Staff that I saw while they were cleaning and stocking were nice and helpful."

"Excellent location and very clean, with a variety of room styles to fit most needs. Less than 300 yards from Marienplatz. Breakfast was great. Neat location. The only complaint I have is that I had a family issue at home and had to check out 1 day early. Staff refused to refund the day that I did not stay. Not sure if that was because it was book via Expedia. They were apologetic, but I felt it was inappropriate to charge me for a day that I did not remain. Otherwise, I can recommend this hotel."
