The dining area balcony was beautiful from the morning breakfast to the evening glass of wine. The noise is true but that is expected when staying in this area. Solution, add some white noise in your room and bring ear plugs. You'll sleep like a baby. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They made sure our breakfast was availble at 3:30am...

"This hotel felt quite comfortable and calm. It was a lovely oasis in the city. There are a few courtyards that were so nice to sit in. I was in a group of 9 people and many of the rooms had bathtubs that the other ladies were very happy about. The rooms were lovely, spacious and clean. The breakfast was great where we were able to order eggs the way we wanted them done and there were choices of many other foods. "After initial issues with outside noise and a move to a room far from the noise, I was given an updated modern room plus a complimentary dessert plate as a gesture acknowledging my troubles. The hotel is very convenient near the central Plaza de Armas where there is nightly free entertainment plus many shops and restaurants"
