"This was our second time at this property, which has excellent location within Times Square. On this 7 night trip, we were given a room on the 43rd floor, which was quiet. The beds were great and large bathroom had good lighting.
We loved being able to walk to almost every neighbourhood to shop/sightsee daily. The theatres are all close together and there are endless dining options nearby. The noise from the streets below did not transfer into room like our previous NY hotel. The high floor location and the constant use of elevators did give me vertigo initially. The dining room/bar are a quick option as well, and we were able to use our $40/day credit here. This credit offset the daily resort fee payable. We didn’t realize we were also given one free ticket per night stayed (7 for us) to various local attractions. This was definitely a bonus! We were able to do the hop on/off, wax museum, and natural history museum at great savings. There is a handy gift shop in the hotel if you need snacks/souvenirs, but most items were not priced, which was frustrating. At the register, they rang in at very high prices! While the Starbucks in the lobby was also convenient, the prices are higher than if you go to a regular Starbucks down the street. Staff were very friendly in all areas within the hotel, especially the housekeepers and concierge. We really appreciated the cleanliness of the room, water provided, umbrella borrowed, and mini fridge for leftovers. Will return!"
"Location location! Everything was so close. The hotel is older but beautifully maintained. We would have liked a mini fridge or microwave, but overall we were comfortable and safe. "
"We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It's exactly what you would expect - and that's not necessarily a bad thing. Staff were kind, rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Of course the rooms are small but it's New York; that comes with sacrifices. We stayed on the 22nd floor and had a great city view. The elevators only take you to the hotel floors if using your key card, so there is a security measure to ensure no one has access to the rooms without actually being a guest. The public can still access the restaurants and rooftop bar (totally worth the view at night). There is a CVS a couple blocks away where we got water and soda for the room. Plenty of restaurant options within a couple of blocks, or even venture just 10-15 minutes and you have even more options. Andrea, bartender at Landshark Bar, recommended Best Bagel and Coffee a few blocks away which was fantastic. We took them over to Bryant Park, which is only 10 minutes from the hotel. Hotel is located within 5 blocks of Broadway theaters and Restaurant Row."
"This hotel is an absolute oasis in the heart of New York City. Beautiful vibe and decor in all public spaces, great gym, amazing food and service in bar and restaurant, and super comfy quiet room with a gorgeous terrace. I will be back! "
"I love this hotel. I’ve been here 3 times and each time I’ve had zero issues. It’s clean - next to everything and the beds are beyond comfortable. Also for being close to if not in times square - zero noise in the hallways and bedroom - maybe the first time in a long time I slept so well in manhattan:) "
