"The hotel is located in a great spot to walk along the river and all of the waterfront dining. It is also a short walk from the train station. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, simple but tasty and the coffee was amazing. There is no AC but it was explained to us that it is not allowed to install it in a historic building. "Just 8 min outside of Lucerne but had great views from our room, a fantastic restaurant on site, breakfast was included, free parking. Also gave us a pass to take public transport into Lucerne if we desired."

"This is a classic hotel with excellent service. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. Staff are friendly and attentive. Location in old city on the water is delightful. The restaurant serves excellent gourmet meals in an upscale white linen tablecloth restaurant. The artwork on the facade is beautiful and historic. I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant. "

"A wonderful experience for this American and her daughter. The service was great, accommodating our arrival ahead of schedule while offering free beverages in the room during our stay. There was a restaurant in the hotel which offered a breakfast as well as dinner. The location was within walking distance from the train station. We were also located within walking distance of the old town, the bridges, and all the shopping we could manage during our two day stay. "
