"This is a lovely place! We had a view of Mt. Etna and the bay. We had our own private terrace. The dining area has beautiful views of the water and the gardens surrounding the property. The food choices were varied. All the staff were friendly and helpful! There is parking right on the premises. You can walk into town. Be aware that it is an uphill walk."

The breakfast was a highlight of the day. There were a lot of variety of vegetarian options and pastries. All food was fresh not stale with right temperature. The wait staffs at the breakfast room were delighful and efficient. The view was amazing too. I would like to thank all staffs for their hospitality. I will definitely stay in this hotel when I visit Taormina again."

"If you need a hotel with stunning views and great access to the cable car, this is the place. The staff's response is immediate. For any request, their answer is YES, and then they clarify what is needed. They react promptly to minor complaints. Everything is of very high quality and pleasant. Because of this, even tipping the staff was not an issue. Water was replenished every day. The only downside I would suggest is that they should consider organizing additional wine tastings on-site.Beach view fantastic "

"We had the most beautiful stay at Hotel Villa Belvedere. We arrived late in the day after missing a flight. They had a concierge outside waiting to meet us and valet our car. We were warmly welcomed with a glass of wine and shown to our beautiful room. The rooms were comfortable and clean with everything we needed. The pool area was gorgeous and the sun loungers were comfortable. The breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was lovely. Breakfast had a generous spread. The location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted. We would return here again and again. You will love your stay!"

"If there was a rating higher than excellent my wife and I would select it for all categories!! The property location was second to none, and the envy of the thousands of tourists passing by the luxurious front gate and vine covered portico. The staff anticipated every need and request and attended immediately to any comment or request. Food was exceptional thanks no doubt to the Michelin rated chef. Appointments in the rooms were second to none. The staff, from the valet to the front desk, to the waiters, to housekeeping, and the managers all made us feel welcome and like family. They greet you with your name and recall any inquiries about seeing a sight, or stores you might visit. The history and pedigree of the Grand Timeo added to the ambience and special atmosphere of this unique treasure. Put it on your bucket list!!! Will be viewing all Belmond properties before booking any other hotel. Words cannot express our pleasure and satisfaction. "
