The village is very peaceful and quiet at night being about 20 minutes walk from the noisy and traffic congested sea front, so coming back after an evening out we appreciated our quiet site. Just note that, if you're coming from the train station at Taormina-Giardini, it is best to get a taxi because the hotel is on the side of a hill and it's a steep climb with your luggage. Without luggage, however, it's quite easy to reach."
