"The room was clean - looked newly renovated. Air conditioning was great. Could have used a few hangers - and a place to put our toiletries - but that was just a minor glitch. Only thing that could have been a problem - but just left us in stitches was the sound the bed made when we sat on it... It sounded like a whoopie cushion had been put under the side. (I actually looked.) It was comfortable - just very noisy. Never had that problem with a bed before. Gave us a story to tell. LOL"

"Dede was welcoming, the lighthouse room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and bathroom was large. The breakfast was unexpected (I didn’t recall reading that) and fantastic. The rooms are on the second floor so you do have to haul luggage up stairs. Also, Expedia had no mention of air conditioning so I called the facility, and they do indeed have AC! The only thing I would add are more outlets by the bed. I would definitely come back if I find myself in the area again."

"What a beautiful house and great staff, met us at the door gave us a great tour, owner was very responsive and an absolute delight to do business with. If you’re looking somewhere to stay in the Alexandria Bay Area I highly suggest this place! Clean comfy quiet beautiful property. Added bonus is right on a golf coarse also!"
