This was an amazing first stay at Angel Rock. Our cottage was cozy and the perfect size for our ladies getaway. We had everything we needed. Amazing views for the living area and outside deck. Beds were comfortable, only downside was the bottom sheet and mattress pad come off fairly quick after getting into bed. Area was very quiet and relaxing. Look forward to future stays with Angel Rock.

Worth the steep stairway climb

Beautiful property on the shore of St. Lawrence River. We stayed in Cabin #1, which was clean, kitchen adequately equipped. Only caveat is this cabin is at the base of a surprisingly long stairway (we were told cabin was accessed by stairs, but not this many!), so moving in and out of the unit required significant aerobic ability. Also living room is oddly narrow, not a great family gathering area. But, wow! the view. We’ll definitely return, but stay in another cabin (hopefully #3, which is better laid out).

Great views, dated cottage.

Cabin 24 has fabulous, on river, views. The cabin itself is a bit dated (siding, deck, ADA ramp need major work). Staff friendly and helpful. Bedrooms (3) are a bit of a squeeze. However, spacious kitchen/dining/living room.

Great stay!

Another year at Angel Rock for family fun!! Any concerns we might have had were handled quickly and professionally, and not even worth mentioning. However, I wish the pool that is supposedly OPEN was open, or that how it all worked was explained on check in. It was a treat we were looking forward to, so the “Closed” sign was a disappointment to the family.

Our accommodation was super clean and well stocked. The reception was very kind and communication excellent. I must have missed on the website that they want you to bring your own towels, shampoo, etc. but the staff accommodated us. They provided towels and also ground coffee when asked. I gave the surrounding are a neutral because on the same property are mobile homes, which detracts from the area. But we had a gorgeous view of the St Lawrence and amazing sunsets. I recommend request your unit to be directly along the shore.

Heater was not set high and we walked in and room was ice cold. We set the heat up but it took over 5 hours to get room warm. No hair dyer in room. No paper towels. Blankets seem dirty. Chair at dining room table was bent. Other than that ok

St Laurence stay

Unit was clean and comfortable but they don’t usually have one night stays and there were no bath towels in the unit they said people bring their own which I found kind of unusual. They brought us towel and a coffee pot which also was missing. There was a digital lock but it did not lock as far as we could tell. There were all sort of directives about cleaning our unit and taking out the trash but no information on the door lock.?

Great Family Weekend Stay

Very clean and easily accessible cottages. Waterfront very peaceful with great views of the St. Lawrence and Lake Ontario. Lots of option on the property to keep busy with a family. Location is nicely situated next to many state parks, Clayton, and Alexandria Bay. The entire family had a great weekend.

Great week at Angel Rock!

Thanks to the Angel Rock team for an excellent stay. Clean and comfortable accommodations with fantastic views. I'd love to see larger bumpers / boat protection devices in the marina. The corrugated steel walls are tough to deal with when docked there.

There was a nice view of the water, but the bees and heat were too much to sit outside. There was no parking near our cabin, very difficult. Hard to maneuver the various levels of walkway to get to the cabin. When we first arrived there were little bugs all over the ceiling. Floors needed cleaning especially bathroom and rug area. A recliner was broken. Couch was really dusty. A kitchen cupboard was completely sprung. Bedroom area was nice. People were nice. There were bottles scattered on the ground near the ramps. It was difficult to figure out how to get to the water.
