"Easily 30 mins of mountain road on the drive up but friendly drivers who didn't tailgate made the drive up bearable. Room was old and without tv but spotlessly clean. Lots of free activities, restaurant has the most amazing food despite the location and a slightly higher than normal price. Definitely eat at the restaurant for dinner but watch out for their friendly parrots who would sit with you and eat your food. We booked a 2d1n and should have stayed at least a day more. "Katy the owner was so friendly as well her dog Butler. Beautiful river which is easy access from the cabins. Our stay was short due to other committments during the day but by night it was so peaceful. We bonded because of no wi-fi which was great not having kids or us on technology.
