"A very comfortable hotel in a glorious location on the river at Fowey. Great river view from our room. Good continental breakfast with a paying option for a hot dish. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a great few days. There is limited hotel parking which needs to be pre-booked in advance otherwise you have to park in one of the 2 main carparks. There is a bus service from the top car park which is at the top of a steep hill."

"My husband and I stayed in the hotel, whilst our friends stayed in a lodge as they had taken their dog. Both were excellent. The hotel grounds are well kept and beautiful. All staff were friendly and helpful. We used the spa/ pool area. Lovely hot jacuzzi. We would definitely recommend a stay."

"Amazing place for family with younger children. Our children - 8,6& 2 loved their stay here. We swam every day, attempted crabbing, played in the playground and attended all of the activities put on by the den staff. Kids loved mocktail & jewellery making and they put on a great Easter egg hunt for the kids too. They also attended the den sessions and were happy each time. "Food was excellent and service in the restaurant very good. The overall ambience was very pleasant. Our room was disappointing. It was small with no seat other than the bed. Wardrobe and drawer provision were inadequate even for a 2 night stay. The lack of parking is a serious problem with a 800 yard walk to pick up the car unacceptable to many of your guests, but it's a problem that won't go away."

"We enjoyed a fabulous one night stay at Haveners. Room 2 was luxurious with a large comfy bed, beautifully decorated and a wonderful bathroom with rain head shower.
