Room was clean, basic, but had all that I needed. Bed was very comfortable but room was initially a little cool. Radiator was adjustable and it soon warmed up. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant menu was varied, food well prepared and nicely presented. Typically pub food. Breakfast freshly cooked to order with good choice of cereals available. Bar well supplied and good, friendly service.

We stayed in the cottage. It was lovely and very clean and cozy. We had an amazing stay. Lovely secluded little village- so peaceful. We used it as a base and drove to various parts of Cornwall each day. Pub was really old and traditional- and served lovely food. Breakfast was great- plentiful and hot. All staff members that we met were lovely and all very friendly. Would definitely stay again!

The staff was excellent, the room clean, the parking easy and the bar had a tv to watch the game. Down point was the bathroom - with a shower that didn't maintain the temperature of the water for longer that seconds and I had to adjust it all the time. Very nice for the price, but the romantic recommendation mislead us somewhat.
