"What size of the property was a great location for Coronado and San Diego. The location was in a walkable area to restaurants, shopping, hotel, del, and the beach. The property was well maintained and clean. Breakfast was sufficient. The staff was very helpful and easy to interact with. The rooms were clean. It was nice to have a different experience than just a hotel, especially in a small quaint area like Coronado. I would definitely stay there again."

"Overall I was very pleased with the stay. The room/villa was very clean as was the entire property. The property and amenities were excellent. It was a mixed bag with the staff. The cleaning staff were very friendly and always very helpful, they were 5*. The front desk attendants were friendly and helpful but commonly in the back and not at the counter, especially at night. The valet at the shore house was fantastic, the valet at the main hotel were rude on the two occasions I had to use them...

"The TV connection would be in and out, very slow and would automatically turn itself off mid movie. Signs said the bar closed at 12am on Fri & Sat but they were closed before 11pm. Loud construction would wake us up in the morning. We stayed more than one night and requested our room to not be cleaned through the tablet - not a big deal but it was weird to offer to opt out and still have it happen. Lobby staff was super helpful."

"Check-in was easy and staff offers to assist with luggage due to there being no elevator -which was great. Location was downtown and dirty outside. No parking/valet unless you circle around building to next street over for an off-site 3rd party parking garage. Internet in room was down so we could not use the TV (booked this hotel for a rest day to watch TV in bed) and the shower had a leak which pooled water in the bathroom, no phone located inside room to alert downstairs desk. "My stay at El Cordova Hotel was disappointing. The main issue was that there was no hot water in my room for more than 24 hours. Taking a shower or using hot water was simply impossible during a significant part of my stay. What made the situation worse is that the hotel staff appeared to be aware of the problem, yet guests were still checked into affected rooms. While staff members apologized, there was no meaningful effort to resolve the situation promptly and no fair compensation was...

"Stayed in room 1110 the entire night. The air-conditioning made so much noise. It sounded like somebody was breaking into the room. The next morning, I want to talk to the staff and all they did was say sorry it wasn’t even genuine I also asked the staff member to call cab for me. She said she wouldn’t. She never did waited over 90 minutes."

"It’s a beautiful hotel staff is polite properties very clean maintain. Only problem I had was that there was not garage parking at the hotel. You have the option of paying $70 for valet parking or finding a parking garage nearby and paying that. Only other complaint I have was the Wi-Fi was down during my stay. It worked have been nice to get a discount due to that inconvenience."
