"We couldn’t fault this hotel. Good location. Room was spacious, cleaned daily. Lovely rooftop with great views over Funchal which includes a spacious pool area /bar / restaurant. Staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed on half board, great choice at buffet breakfast. Dinner was a lovely three course, which we enjoyed every night during our five night stay. Would highly recommend."

"The hotel natural estate was beautiful, the grounds were in there own gardens , the staff very friendly , everything so clean and helpful. Everything was exceptional. The restaurant was very interesting and good , breakfast was so delightful with all the fruits and choices to eat. It is a 5 star excellent hospitality. The room we got was an upgrade because we had found the first room’s bathroom uncomfortably cramped. The room we got was an extra story to climb stairs but João insisted that he carry our bags. "Very good sized apartment in a good location, within walking distance to the marina, old town, restaurants and a nearby shopping centre with a supermarket. Simple check in process via a door code. Very quiet in the evenings. The shower is large but due to the set up the water does spill over as there is no shower door. The apartment got warm which was ok in April with the plug in fan but would likely be too hot in the summer with no air con"

"We have just had a 3 night stay at the Hotel and it was lovely. When we arrived the reception staff were very friendly and gave us a brief tour, when our room was ready we were again escorted there by a member of reception. The room was a great size with a small patio area overlooking the lush gardens. We had dinner in the restauarant on our first night, which was excellent, service was impeccable.
