"Lovely and good value family run pub and guesthouse.
Clean and homely room with everything you need. Lots of food options for dinner and a well stocked bar.
The pub was busy but closed and early enough not to disturb me sleeping.
Staff friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast was great and a reasonable £10 for a full English.

"This gets a top rating due to the service & hospitality.
The hosts are ultra welcoming and friendly. And gave me some great tips on places to visit, including nearby scenic walks.
Plus Simon cooks a top English breakfast and Paula does a great job of keeping the place in order.
They allow dogs, although best to check with them before booking to make sure they will get on with their dogs ok.
The nearby road is noisy early morning, but only if you keep the window fully open."

Kids gather at the front for games and dance, the entertainment staff talk to them through a microphone, but you can hear it 20 miles away, just turn it down a bit, so you can sit at the back of the room without having your eardrums explode!"
