"The Claremont offers clean, comfortable accommodation and ideally placed just a few minutes walk from the harbour and fishing village of Polperro. It has it's own car park, and although it doesn't have a 24/7 reception, it'll provide you with a code to get back into the hotel if you go out. The breakfast was complimentary and offered plenty of choice, catering to most tastes. You can even have it al fresco if you want. There's tea and coffee making facilities in the room along with a bottle of water. Polperro itself is a charming village with plenty of shops and dining opportunities, and is a good base to see more of this wonderful county. It was good value for money, and all the staff were very helpful."

"What a lovely stay. Upgraded to the upper deck made it even better. Smart room with lovely fittings. Started the break with a bath outside followed by a special meal at The Fish Market in Looe finished the day with a coffee at the accommodation looking out over spectacular views.Next day a trip to the Eden Project only 30mins away. Check in easy and no fuss check out. We even sat at the same table in the hotel where we had our honeymoon 45years ago. Thank you for a memorable break and lots of brownie ppints for me."

"Everything about Cherrywood Lodge was excellent. We stayed in a Superior Double Room, on the 1st floor, which was perfect. Large bed, double seated reclining sofa, spacious room, with a small fridge too. Everything was clean & well presented throughout. The breakfasts were fantastic, with a good selection on the menu, and Annie & Ralph were the perfect hosts. Coveniently situated, about a 5 to 10 minute wasl in to the centre of Looe. We would highly recommend, and would love to return in the future."

"I think that this may have been the first time that the caravan was used this year, both TVs were playing up. The maintenance guy was there within two minutes and solved the problem. The caravan was very clean and ready for occupation. All the staff, without exception were friendly and helpful. We were unfortunate with the weather, very cold winds from the north, but the heating system coped well. The only adverse comment I could make is about the current trend of the use of QR codes. All park info was accessed by QR codes. I'm in my 80's and don't do QR codes. The problem is that you have to know about something in order to ask. For example, I knew the restaurant would have a menu, I asked for a paper copy and was given one. The only thing I didn't like was you had to pay for wifi in your caravan and at £5 per day I thought that was something I could do without."

"Two night mid week Easter break at this fabulous guest house. Superb spacious room overlooking the river, fabulous hosts, amazing breakfast, can’t rate it highly enough and, we hit the jackpot with the weather🌞 location is spot on for the shops and there’s a bus stop and taxi rank literally on the doorstep which we used to explore locally. Many thanks for your hospitality and we will definitely see you again. Richard, Tracey & Emily. "
