The hotel was a little bit hard to find at first especially now that the MRT station is under construction. It took us a few minutes but we managed to find it eventually after much searching. Hotel address did not reflect the street name and this was part of the problem. Google maps wasn't much help either. It just indicated we have arrived without ever indicating exactly where the hotel is. The closest MRT station is the NT Hospital (R 09) stop on the red line. From there take take the M4 exit walk straight across Peace Park the hotel is right there on the same street as the Museum/Peace Park. The hotel is clean however because of the dated and cosmetic issues it will seemed dirty even though you can see the staff cleaning everything everyday specially the public spaces. The front sidewalk of the hotel is fully carpeted all the way to the curb in pink heavily stained carpeting. Throughout the hotel are small little cosmetic fixes and updates. But most importantly our room was spacious, clean and comfortable furniture (bed) and fixtures. We stayed a total of 9 nights so we were given 2 appointments for housekeeping maintenance during our entire stay. Bedding, linens & room amenities are provided. We were quite happy & was not expecting all of these but it made for a very pleasant stay. We discovered that accessibility to all the buses & MRT made our stay even more enjoyable. Liked the small museum next door as well and the park. Walking around was very safe.

Free instant noodles, juices, teas, coffee and a few snacks as long as you eat in the dining area. My Room didn't have a microwave but they do in the dining area. Very comfortable clean and in a great location for travel and tasty restaurants!

Walkable to metro, and many attractions. Basic thing to know in Taiwan is that you don’t flush toilet paper or anything even in your room, they don’t clean your room during your stay only at end. Breakfast possibility in hotel is non existent- you have to go out to eat. Otherwise the staff is very friendly.

The hotel itself is nice. Had a huge bed and a single bed for the three of us. However, there was a mistake of name when we checked in. The reservation/confirmation number, nights and dates were all correct, but the name was somebody else that we didn’t recognize. We had a scare and thought that we might end up staying the three nights on street! But hotel’s front desk staff let us check in nicely! The mistake must have been on Expedia side.

The hotel is under renovation. The reception is level 3. Room is spacious and clean. Staff are friendly but quite hard to communicate if you are not chinese speaking although they tried their best.

the staff allowed me to lie down on the couch to take a rest for two hours after my 16 hours flight and arrival at 9:00 earliy morning before being able to check in in afternoon. this two hours rest gave me necessary energy to travel in Taipei for the following days. very appreciated.

Fine place to stay. No frills or thrills. They offer 1 room cleaning every 3 days: on request, must request 24 hours in advance -- this was fine for me since I didn't need it, plus it conserves resources. Rooms were clean and quiet. Hotel was close to NTU Hospital Metro Station so very convenient.

Not worth the price
The hotel is very old and dated. Carpets are filthy and the room smells. Our room didn't even have a window. It was like being in a basement room without windows and outside light. Paid too much for what we got. I wouldn't recommend it. The only positive is that the hotel is close to Taipei Main Station which makes it convienent to travel.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Hotel is located about 5-7 mins walk to NTU Hpspital MRT station on the red line, and about 15-20 mins walk to Taipei Main Stataion and Taipei Airport Rail. Plenty of food options about 3 mins walk in the direction of Taipei Main Station. Check in was easy, and staff were friendly during check in and out. Shower was great with good pressure and good temperature control. Carpet was not cleaned properly and it is easy to spot some stray left over plastic bits on the carpet in the room. Sheets were not the cleanest, but it was clean. I will stay here again.

The hotel located between Taipei main station & Ximending. Walking less than 10mins, of coz depend on individual. For me, overall is good. Spacious room and clean.

Exceeded Expectations!
I loved this hotel!! I stayed for one night, then loved it so much I booked it again in the same trip! It was more of a self-service hotel, where you would take out your own trash and take intiative to change your towels and such...so that could get annoying for a long-term stay, but it was absolutely perfect for a few days! The staff was so nice, helpful, and spoke English well. The bed was comfortable. Amenities were great (water, shower stuff, couple snack bags)! Definitely highly recommend and I would absolutely stay here again next time. It's right near lots of stuff-cafes, Starbucks, food, and about a 7-8 minute walk to Main Station.

立地が良く、ホテル〜台北駅の道のりがシンプルでわかりやすい。コンビニも近くにあり、近所の和平公園はのどかなので居心地が良い。 自身が利用した部屋はシャワーヘッドが水漏れしていて水圧弱め。 ランドリーは洗濯に50台湾$、乾燥に50台湾$必要で、全て10台湾$×5で用意する必要がある。両替が必要であればフロントでしてもらえる。運が良ければ日本語を話せるスタッフの方もいる。 コンセント口は多いが、ベット付近に無い(私の部屋だけかも)ので念の為延長コードを持っていくことをオススメします。
