"Spotless clean room very polite staff drinks not over priced Only fault is the doors to rooms get slammed shut very loud not the hotels problem tho guest need to be a little bit more careful and think of others"

"This was a great stay. A beautiful heritage property. Felicia and her Paul were fantastic hosts. We stayed with our son his wife and their 22 month old toddler. They could not have made us more welcome. Felicia was very accommodating about breakfast and other things as our son was running the Cheshire held marathon. The breakfasts were all delicious. Highly recommend this as a place to stay."

"It looked ok on arrival. Staff were friendly enough. The hall way was dated , got to the room and it looked ok. Carpet was clean, had ironing board and iron. It’s only when I got into bed and started scratching I knew they have bed bugs 🐜 didn’t sleep a wink. Slept on top of the bed with the towels for a duvet. We found a random pill on the floor which one of the kids could have easily got hold of. Cleaning as in dusting wasn’t very good either. Toilet has a low flush so we had trouble...

"Great couple of nights stay. Room was clean, beds comfortable and it was quiet. Didn’t have the breakfast but did have an evening meal in the restaurant which was nice. Would stay again and would recommend! "

"The staff were very good. the hotel itself could do with a bit of TLC. I just needed a bed to sleep in so was adequate for my needs. if you want a budget friendly hotel to stay in before heading to Manchester airport which is less than 10 minutes away this is the hotel for you. There is free wi fi but I did find it kept dropping the connection every 30 - 50 mins. there is on site paid parking at very reasonable priced, I stayed for 3 nights in the end and total of £21."

"Breakfast was fine. Staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. Very disappointed that we were not advised in advance there would be major building construction at the hotel. More so right outside our window. In addition to having carpentry work on the doors with tools blocking the corridor inside. A strange phenomenon was the toilet. My wife and I both disabled found it near impossible to flush the toilet. The flushing button was difficult to access and use especially at night. "

"I went to Manchester to watch a football match and wanted a hotel to sleep and rest. Great hotel, very good breakfast and free parking. I recommend it."

"Parking very easy till we booked in and were asked to pay £14, this was not mentioned on the hotel advert with Expedia nor on the email confirming the booking. After some debate with reception the guy borrowed our phone to show us where it was, not under this hotel but scrolled down another half dozen pages and showed us it the parking charges in the general terms and conditions, while scrolling saw the booking charge had dropped by £20, so suggested they took the parking charge out of this,...

"The receptionist who checked me in, didn’t inform me about the hotel facilities,what time is the breakfast ,where is restaurant itp.Very disappointed "

"This place is quaint but not super welcoming. The cottage was cute but not the comfiest beds. We didn’t get a code to check in and didn’t realise the reception would be unmanned. The continental breakfast was a bit odd - self service without clear instructions. Wasn’t all put out at 8am and then a girl came and brought some more things. Had to make our own coffee. "
