"Small 8 room boutique hotel on the Grand Canal about 150’ from the Rialto Bridge. Very “Venetian” in decor - lots of brocades, glass chandeliers, gold insets etc. We loved it. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Water taxis taken care of on arrival at the train station and departure to the airport. Very efficient. Upgraded to an extra large king bed which was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was served to order in a cute little room overlooking the Grand Canal. Would definitely return."

"This is something of a gem. A traditional Venetian hotel. Has an old school feel to it with excellent service. It is on a beautiful canal. The immediate area around the hotel is fairly quiet but very close to the action if needed. The best of both worlds. "

"We spent 2 nights in the EGO residences Casanova room. Location is as central as it gets. Vaporetto stops 50m away. Very convenient. The room was very nicely renovated, clean and provided everything we needed. The couch pullout bed was a queen size and both beds were very comfortable. "Wonderful in every way. Amazing location, literally just steps from the Rialto bridge and the transportation docks there. Also easy to find in the maze of Venice.
