"Small 8 room boutique hotel on the Grand Canal about 150’ from the Rialto Bridge. Very “Venetian” in decor - lots of brocades, glass chandeliers, gold insets etc. We loved it. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Water taxis taken care of on arrival at the train station and departure to the airport. Very efficient. Upgraded to an extra large king bed which was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was served to order in a cute little room overlooking the Grand Canal. Would definitely return."

"This is an excellent choice for a hotel in Venice. We had a wonderful time. The hotel is very well located, the sheets and towels are clean, the rooms we booked were small and not overly luxurious, but just what we needed, and the breakfast is excellent and generous. I highly recommend this hotel, and I would stay here again."

"The doorman/bartender was really annoying. He kept trying to make a reservation at a restaurant. And when I asked about the gondola, he said it as 170 because it included a bottle of alcohol. I told him I didn’t want the alcohol. Then he was upset the whole entire time. We bought something at the bar, and after I finished, he said only cash!!! What???? At a hotel bar only cash??? He made me feel uncomfortable/ "

"We spent 2 nights in the EGO residences Casanova room. Location is as central as it gets. Vaporetto stops 50m away. Very convenient. "This B&B is just 5 minutes easy walk from Fundamente Nove, which can be reached from the airport by waterbus. My room was spotless and comfortable. There was a small refrigerator, useful for keeping drinks cool, and also a small safe. The room has airconditioning and the windows are netted against mosquitoes. The Bacarando downstairs is excellent,m; offering such good appies (chicchetti) and drinks at a great price. "Wonderful in every way. Amazing location, literally just steps from the Rialto bridge and the transportation docks there. Also easy to find in the maze of Venice. The room decor was upscale “period” with lovely gold accents and inlays. Yes, the junior suite was small as listed and didn’t bother us a bit.
