"Great place to stay. Lovely country pub. Bit out of the way but ok. Staff very good food in bar excellent. The continental breakfast in the room a great addition. The room was large and clean with a comfy bed. Would stay again."

"What a gorgeous hotel. The garden room for the girls (our two Standard Poodles 💕) was absolutely perfect, they even had their own gift boxes and beds waiting for them, which was such a bonus. The team at The Royal George were wonderful, and Kirsty in particular couldn’t do enough for us. The whole place is spotless, beautifully thought through, and felt hugely welcoming. The Upper Deck restaurant was a real treat too, the monkfish was incredible, so if it’s on the menu, don’t hesitate! Tintern itself is such a gem… tucked along the River Wye, surrounded by peaceful country walks and the stunning, historic Tintern Abbey. A real find. Highly recommend. ✨"
