"Clean entrance, room was cleaned. The staff were amicable. The only thing that we didn’t have was the body soap and shampoo bottles were all out. We had rented this last minute and didn’t have time to bring our supplies. Either than that everything was great. "

"Beds were very comfy & room was very nice! Couldn't use the pool because a kid threw up in it earlier...has a nice small fitness room. Only complaint i had was the breakfast. It was ok but the eggs & potatoes both had pepper on them - which i can't have so only had a waffle. Would be nice if they didn't have pepper on the food"

"Overall, the property was clean, but it is dated. They are clearly working renovations, so they are trying. The photos make it seem as though they have a nice family pool area with a slide. The pool area is disappointing, though. It is clean, but the slide is no longer there. Both the washing pool and the main pool are quite chilly. For the price we paid, we won’t return; however , at a lower price point, this property would be fine. "

" Overall stay was fine. Had The Flying Wallendas in the room above the first night, running back and forth until midnight and then one of them screaming and crying until 1 am (child I assume). Just fine the next two nights, the must have moved on to the next county. Room, staff, breakfast, parking all good. Real nice TV, but a very sparce and often stop motion satellite signal. Too bad. The set deserves better."

"The Mayflower is a secret gem hidden in plain sight (if you look at the shell you'll miss the pearl inside). The rooms are immaculately clean, and done very tastefully with hardwood floors to accentuate it all. The bathrooms and showers appear to be newly renovated. The only addition I'd recommend is to add boiled eggs to the continental breakfast offerings. I had an amazing stay and the place was quiet so a great night's sleep which is most important."

"Family friendly. Lots of kids running amok in the hallways. 1 elevator was down during our visit which was very annoying and made for long wait times."

"The hot tub doesn't have enough water in it and there's too much chlorine and the Jets don't work and the pool there's way too much chlorine and it's not clean actually neither of the hot tub"

"The hot tub was one of the best that we've seen. The breakfast was just so so and the staff didn't seem at all concerned about helping get the food in order. The counter around the food was messy and when you needed a fork or spoon you had to remind the staff to put more on the counter. In addition, the shower head in our room was broken so water sprayed everywhere."

"The location of this hotel is unbeatable. You are within an easy walking distance to the capital, the square, etc., but you don’t need to worry about parking. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious."
