Aging facility that is in good shape, well maintained, clean. Breakfast was unappealing, little real food. (Yogurt had artificial sweetener, oats had sugar added, coffee machine gave chemical taste, butter was "whipped spread") Bathrooms had big dispenser of soap, shampoo but no lotion. Washcloths far from tub.

We had a feeling going in that this wasn’t going to be a top-notch hotel based on the rating. When we checked in late evening on Friday the gentleman working seemed irritated that we were there so late. The hotel is a bit dated, so it’s hard to give it fantastic ratings. The soap in the shower was empty and we asked to have it filled and we were told that only housekeeping could do that. It was never filled the next day for us to use it. The rooms were a bit noisy. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was ok,nice they offer it. Appreciate free parking especially in madison, I understand it was a Badgers game the weekend we stayed but we still felt it was expensive for what we got.

Room floor was so sticky and clearly not cleaned. I didn’t want to remove shoes. Bathroom not clean. There was toilet paper stuck in the door jamb of the bathroom wall to replace the rubber stopper. The lobby and rooms smelled terrible. Beds and sheets were clean tho. We checked out early. Staff were friendly tho.

The staff was so helpful and accomodating! We really enjoyed the free 24 hour coffee and waffles for breakfast. It was everything we needed and nothing fancy. Parking was fine and it was located easily off the highway. If you are looking for a reasonable price, and fairly close to downtown . . . this is the place.

My family came here i think either a year to 2 years ago, and had a pleasant stay! Even left a great review! However, this time wasn't as pleasant at all. First off parking, if you have a long trailer and vehicle you are trying to park, good luck, I had to take up 5 spaces because they had random trailers in the lot, plus glass scattered too, not good at all. Staff and preparation, the Staff member we encountered wasn't very nice, seemed very short and rude with her replies, and even though I put down on Expedia when I paid, that i would have a child with me, never got any extra blankets for our room, good thing I had extra blankets in my vehicle for him. Soap for the sink was completely empty, barely enough towels, had to move the fold out couch so it wouldn't hit the ac or lamp. All in all it wasn't a very pleasant time this year, was highly disappointed.
