"The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the view from our room when we arrived but the manager (think her name was Tatyana) went out of her way to sort this out for us. "The hotel is in an excellent location and walking distance to all restaurants and the beach. The beach is a gravel/shingle and not sand. Facilities at the hotel are great, breakfast very good."

"Lovely little hotel, felt really intimate and unique, with nice stone walls and interesting decor. The main guy on reception - whose name I'm ashamed to have forgotten but he lives 50m down the road from the hotel - was absolutely brilliant, his English was excellent and he served as more of a concierge than a receptionist. He was very knowledgeable and we had a great chat on our last night. All other staff were friendly as well. A la carte breakfast was nice, with fresh fruit and yoghurt also provided, and you can enjoy great views as you take it out on the private lakefront terrace, from which you can also take a swim in the lake and make use of the complimentary towels and blankets in reception. The room was cosy, with a very powerful shower, comfortable bed, and an AC unit. Not completely soundproofed, but we didn't find that a problem. Wi-fi was not very good, which wasn't a problem for us as I got an eSim for the trip, and the 4/5G is excellent throughout the country. If renting a car, there should be ample parking spaces, even if you can't get a space right out front. I would mention that the road leading up to the hotel is a nightmare to drive on, if there are cars (or god forbid a bus!) coming the other way it can be very stressful, to the point where I refused to drive the next day, instead opting for the hour long walk into Kotor Old Town"
