"You get what you pay for. The Inn was probably built in the 70s and was very unattractive. The room was cheap. The check in was underwhelming, the room smelt of dampness, mould and cheap detergent. I never took my shoes off due to the dirty carpet and brown stains on the bathroom floor. There were black hairs all over the bathroom and in one of the beds and may be others but we chose not to look. Light came through the bedroom blind. "On entering room.. toilet lid off & stood next to toilet on the floor & bin in bedroom contained someone's pink false nails!! Obviously not clean or maintained. Reported to reception & had a standard reply of " I'll inform maintenance" doesn't really address the issues WE experienced did it!"

"Dirt in the room and under the bed. Staff generally good. Booking came with a room upgrade due to status. Room upgrade didn’t occur despite the hotel being empty and having availability on their website. Emailed the hotel through Expedia app (replying to the message they sent me) asking questions. That was ignored and not responded to. Dinner food quality was poor considering my the level they quote themselves to be at and prices charged. Ice cream for dessert clearly suffering from freezer burn...

"We stayed for a couple of nights, having breakfast & dinner twice. After a rather brusque check-in with a middle aged Asian gentleman (the owner?), we made our way to Room 10, a king sized room with an additional bed in a side room. As we had our Jack Russell with us, this may be a pet-friendly room. The bedroom was beautifully clean, and the beds comfortable. I think the bathroom had not long been fitted, and had a fabulous shower along with all the complimentary soaps/showergels/shampoos...

"Room not the cleanest, false fingernail and tissue left by the side of the bed and thick dust on the top of the oak beam. Breakfast was excellent but the table was very sticky. Bedroom front door did not close properly and let a large of cold air into the room"

"Property is beautiful, the only thing was we weren’t given any information on the amenities on check-in and there was no book in the room. We had a hard time finding the pool, which we had to go through the bar and through the gym to get to. "

"The location was central to places we wanted to visit. The area seemed safe and the property was secure. Parking was available which was helpful in a town where parking places are at a premium. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Everything seemed modern and fairly new."
