"Lovely welcome, really lovely room although very hot, but was able to get a fan from reception. The hotel is spotless, fresh towels and bedding and updated each day. Quiet location, perfect for exploring the town. The food in the restaurant was also really good and you get well looked after and also 15% off as a gesture from the hotel great selection at breakfast and again well looked after.......would defiantly book again"

Room was spacious and well appointed albeit tired and in need of updating, as well as a little dusty in places and the fruit had clearly been there several days or longer…. That said the facilities were good, it’s really well located and lots to do nearby. Just check when booking that it includes breakfast and parking - these were 2 primary reasons for choosing this venue over others and both the hotel tried to charge us for - this was resolved but only after producing my original booking with hotels.com Would I return? Yes - the staff were extremely pleasant. "
