"The hotel is beautiful and incredibly unique. The staff genuinely wanted to be helpful and you can tell they love the hotel too. The room was really comfortable and thoughtfully designed. Really cool, old time, glamorous Hollywood vibe. The courtyard is an oasis. Can’t say enough great things. I don’t even like L.A. that much but I’d come back to stay at the Prospect. Special place.."

"The room was VERY loud to the outside traffic but the AC was louder so that helped drown out the noise. Also, though the room overall was clean, the carpet was old and fraying and there was a bad odor the entire stay. It was ok for our stay and close enough to what we wanted it for but I’m not sure we would stay again."

"Bad explanation of the rooms but I should have just kept the Terrance view"

"It’s great iconic hotel. I do have to say it is quite outdated which I did figure but the amenities were not the best and the staff didn’t know basic things about the hotel for example where the ice machine was. But charging 75 a day to keep your car on the property was one of the most egregious things of the trip. I get paid parking the hotel I work at does it but 75 a night… that is definition of gouging your guests. Maybe tie in free or discounted parking for guests. Room was clean and tidy....

"Parking was extremely challenging, even just to check in. The room next door started partying around 1am, and with paper-thin walls, every bit of it came through crystal clear. To make matters worse, the AC in room 207 sounded like a jackhammer. Very difficult place to get any rest. I left at 2am to get the hell out of there - driving 2.5 hours to get home was an insane idea but really the only option."

"Great location, with free parking included and security on site. The area has several restaurants and a Target nearby, which was very convenient. At night, you may see some homeless people around, but it did not affect my stay at all. The facilities are a bit old, but considering the price and everything else, it was totally worth it. I would definitely recommend it."

"Perfect if you’re going to a show at the Hollywood bowl!! It made it so convenient and easy to get there and back with a 10 minute walk!! Pricey for the night stay but makes sense because of the location. Would recommend for concert goers."
