"Loved the charm of the hotel. Old building but very well maintained. Room was nice with a little fireplace and sitting area. Bed was comfortable . The shower was a massage shower which was nice after our drive. Perfect location for shopping or eating right in Hudson."

"The property was amazing and comfortable. Definitely enjoyed our stay here for the most part. The rooms were fully equipped with the essentials and were kept in tip top shape. Best part was the kitchen full of complimentary snacks and coffee. Parking also a breeze and easy to understand. "

"The room was clean and comfortable enough, particularly the bed, and a great shower. The staff were great. But, access up two flights of narrow stairs was not the best for us. In fairness, staff did offer to carry our luggage up. I missed the part that said no lift. Also, it was advertised as ‘self parking included’. There wasn’t. We had to find a park on the street. No complaints, merely observations."

"A beautiful hotel, with a great restaurant and bar in the hotel as well as a bathhouse. The room was well appointed, with a projector instead of a TV which I liked. The shower (and water pressure - or lack there of!) was disappointing and didn’t seem to match how well appointed the rest of the room was. I also noted a kettle in the room which is a great addition - but sadly no mugs or tea/coffee supplied. Staff were pleasant and accomodating throughout the stay. "

"Architecturally sound and a beautiful building, however the rooms are not soundproof. I could hear my neighbors TV (Seinfeld episodes) until about 10:00 p.m. . There were a few pieces of paper on the floor that did not belong to us. The bathroom was spotless, both in the room and in the common area. Breakfast is good enough."

"My room was immaculate, and the front desk is staffed 24 hours per day. There is a very nice assortment of snacks and frozen food by the front desk in case you get hungry and it was just a wonderful place to stay."

"It was a joy to be there for it had everything including real cups and saucers with spoons! No paper cups, which I appreciated. Plus live bamboo in the room and more than adequate bathroom products including new tooth brushes. Real art and prints on the wall that gave it a very Asian- European flair. Lovely"
