"The hotel is right next to a light rail station for travel around the city center. We did not actually use it. We did walk one day to ChinaTown, past the Merdeka 118 tower. Was a long but pleasant walk. There appears to be restaurants and shopping in the blocks surrounding the hotel. We booked a suite and were given a room on the 17th floor. The room was nice, but did not have any silverware or glasses other than the water glasses in the bathroom. Would have been nice to have some wine glasses, and maybe even a wine opener in the room. There is a lounge on level M2 reserved for the suite guests. The young man who manned the desk tried to be helpful, but often gave incomplete or confusing information. Such as, he told us we could store our luggage there the last day, while having lunch before our ride to the airport. The person actually on duty that day said no and made us take luggage to the lobby. We had a light dinner at the rooftop bar. The food and service were average, but double the price of what you'd pay in the city. Drinks and lunch at the lobby bar were likewise on the pricey side. The pool in the later afternoon was pleasant and clean. The exercise room on level -1 was adequate, but 2 of the 4 elliptical machines were not functioning properly. Overall, we had a pleasant stay here and I would consider staying here again, but would also consider other options in the city center."
