Grand Mercure Imperial Palace Seoul Gangnam

"The Hotel was amazing , we enjoyed the decor and furniture and cute antique china ! However the breakfast buffet and dinner buffets were super expensive. Also the a/c in our room did not work well, it was 28-29 at night in the room , finally on the last night of our 10 nights stay we asked if they can give us another room just to sleep , they gave us the room but unfortunately it was only one large bed, me and our 8 years old daughter went to sleep there while my husband remained in our old room and suffered , they gave us a portable a/c that was smelly . They complimented us for one last breakfast, it was nice. Location of the Hotel was not great, we had to take metro everywhere we went . Also the outdoor pool was closed till June 19th they said , but on June 19th they told us they will open it in July . We stayed there June 10-20th. That was very disappointing, they have to maintain the pool anyway - why not to let guests to swim there , it should be up to the guests to use the pool or not ."

"I want to add that I’m African British female that traveled with my sis! The food was amazing I’m reconsidering staying there again just for their room service 😩 really nice area very peaceful and the hotel is gorgeous and felt well looked after by all the staff! Well worth every penny!!"

"Every year when I visit South Korea to see my mom, I always stay at the Grand Intercontinental Coex because of the friendly staff, respect for guests, location, clean rooms, and so many shops nearby, so convenient and easy to access everywhere in Seoul. I highly recommend this hotel, and I will definitely stay at the Grand Intercontinental Coex next year or on my future visit to Korea. It's a truly five-star hotel in Seoul."

"Room was exactly like the photos, exclusive interior design and high end amenities. Coffee was great and the welcome snacks yummy. Lots of restaurants choices nearby. Subway was close. Tried their Japanese restaurant and the staff were very friendly and kind. Food was Amazing. One thing, we had to go find the Japanese restaurant which wasn’t so easy to find the entrance of the building. The hotel staff made a reservation for me cause I didn’t have the phone."

"Hello, I arrived at the hotel and immediately realized that I book a wrong type of room. The front desk staff went above and beyond to find the best possible option to find me a right room type and we were able to check in the following day to a room I initially planned to stay. This was my first time visiting this hotel and I was very grateful for the amazing service provided by the staff. Thank you very much."

"The sound of the shower room ventilation fan sounded very, very loud. When the bathroom light was turned on, the ventilation fan also worked, making a very loud noise. Other than that, I'm satisfied with everything"
