"Hersonissos is very chill. My hotel was fabulous- did not see a need to go out to clubs, etc., except for excursions, as it was all inclusive. There was nightly entertainment, 5 pools, several restaurants, and my own private beach. Very kid/family friendly as well as singles. "

"We stayed at Mitsis Rinela to celebrate a milestone birthday and our anniversary and the experience was flawless from start to finish. Having already stayed at another Mitsis in Rhodes, I expected great service, but Rinela somehow exceeded even that.
As vegans, we were especially impressed by how well the resort catered to our dietary needs. From the moment I emailed ahead of our stay, the resort’s in-house nutritionist, Maria, responded promptly and clearly explained our options at every restaurant. When we arrived, she met with us personally to ensure everything was in place and it was.
We were introduced to the Executive Chef, Georgios, and Sous Chef, Ionis, who went out of their way to customise our meals. The service across all à la carte restaurants, cafés, and beach bars was simply incredible. We were constantly offered more food and options — the à la carte dining felt limitless, and every meal left us full and happy. It honestly felt like visiting a beloved grandmother who keeps lovingly feeding you.
The staff were exceptional; always smiling, always helpful. A special thanks to Sha, Magdalini, Kelly, and Eleni, who made every dining experience extra special.
The setting itself is stunning, with a grand pool, private beach, and beautiful architecture — but it’s the people who truly make Mitsis Rinela what it is.
I work for a global travel company and can confidently say this was one of the best hospitality experiences I’ve had anywhere in the world!"
"Fantastic property and friendly staff. We had paid the half board with breakfasts and dinners. The food was beyond expectations. It was fresh and delicious. Thank you!"

"I spent seven unforgettable days at Peninsula Resort & Spa in Greece, and it truly felt like a slice of heaven The hotel is just as described — tranquil, elegant, and perfectly suited for a relaxing getaway. The resort features three beautiful beaches , including a private one where the sea is ideal for swimming. The large swimming pool never felt crowded — sunbeds were always available, and fresh towels were on hand whenever needed. The room I stayed in was spacious. Daily cleaning was provided, however, I did notice a few items left behind the bed, which was a shame in an otherwise well-kept space. The all-inclusive experience was exceptional. A fantastic variety of cocktails, wines, spirits, and soft drinks were always on offer, and the food selection was outstanding — diverse, fresh, and consistently delicious. If I had one small critique, it would be that some of the drinking glasses weren't always cleaned thoroughly, so I often requested cups instead — a minor hiccup in an otherwise flawless stay. Unfortunately, due to a recent storm, the à la carte restaurants weren't available during my stay, so I wasn't able to enjoy that part of the experience. However, the staff. There were activities scheduled throughout the day and evening , with a lively French animation team adding energy and entertainment. From quiet relaxation to social fun, the resort struck the perfect balance. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I wholeheartedly recommend this resort and wouldn't hesitate "

"This was a 1 night stay prior to a longer booking, in a basic room. I was also here last year. Don’t be scared of a solo trip, the people are fantastic and you will be made to feel very welcome and not alone.
The guests are hit and miss, some are a bit rowdy, some doing photo shoots the whole time but it’s easy to find some quiet space. Most are couples in their 30s. The rooms are soundproofed, I stayed on a top floor and couldn’t hear any neighbours which was a relief, food is fantastic but large portions. All inclusive is a must so that you can relax and let the wonderful people bring you drinks and snacks. I had a wonderful massage to start my trip, and a meal in the lovely Greek restaurant.
Outside gym has some really cool equipment.
I think the resort is non smoking, which is a relief as many Greek people smoke (there are mostly English people here), there are a lot of vapers.
I travel to 5 star hotels for work, and I cannot say enough good things about the staff here, they are without exception friendly and helpful and in a resort like this, they make the difference between a 5 star trip and a less decent holiday. I will definitely return next year. I also stayed in the grand bungalow which was easily the best hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. I’d advise anyone to book a swim up room at least, to avoid sunbed wars at the pool. "
