The resort was beautiful! The food and staff were amazing. We had an 6:30 am early morning transfer to the ferry the day we checked out and they opened the kitchen and had breakfast waiting for us at 6 am The only thing that wasn’t ideal was the Paraiso Party garden was located next to our room and since we had an early morning transfer, the music made it very difficult to sleep - that would be my only recommendation for not staying in a room nearby the party garden.

Stella Island is a beautiful and peaceful resort with a truly premium feel. The rooms were superb, and the design—with pools running throughout—adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The food was consistently excellent, with plenty of variety and top-quality dishes. While the location isn’t ideal for walking to nearby attractions, the resort has everything you need, and taxis to local towns are easy to arrange. Highly recommended for a luxurious, hassle-free getaway.

Beautiful resort. Definitely earned the luxury title. The pool could have been heated as we did visit in the fall, but the water was beautiful and we still swam. I noticed there was a decent amount of grime in the corners but it is such a large pool I was not too surprised. Overall this didn’t create an issues. The bed was very firm but house keeping was great and immediately got us an extra topper. The staff were all amazing and we definitely noticed the luxury service in the house keeping frequency, room service speed and professionalism and the mini bar refreshes. Also the food was amazing. Best all inclusive food we have had. The desserts were all unreal. One thing I will mention is that there are planes flying low overhead every hour so more during the day so if you’re looking for a super peaceful escape this may not be the one. But if you can overlook the planes, we still felt very relaxed and the vibe was awesome. Overall gorgeous property, and we will stay again.

Beautiful new resort towards the NE side of Crete. Staff was uniformly kind and seemed vested in us having a great time. Spa was absolutely wonderful. A few nits to be aware of. Hotel is rather isolated and the nicer restaurants all close at 930pm and require reservations 24 hours in advance via their app with no same day flexibility. Also despite being next to the sea, there is no hotel beach club or chairs and a lot of the landscaping even blocks the sea views. Price was a little high considering no beach and need to take taxis to go anywhere off property.

From the first minute, we walked into the front doors we were cared for like none other. The staff was super friendly and very hospitable. The dining options were very good. Lots of different options. We only booked a two nights stay. I wish it was a seven nights stay. I will definitely be returning in the future. The only knock I would give this place is we had ants in our room… 9.5/10 stay.

Stunning Stella!

Amazing stay at Stella Island would definitely recommend to couples especially honeymooners :) It’s as beautiful as the photos on website and socials. Stunning and the staff are the biggest asset. Food is amazing at all restaurants including the buffets. If I’m being really picky I think the cocktails can be better but if you tell the bartender what you want and how you want it they accokidate.

First time staying at Stella Island and Wow! From start to end the holiday was amazing. Lovely welcome by the front desk staff, check in incredibly smooth with a welcome drink. Staff very attentive, used the in resort a la carte restaurants on 4 of the 5 nights which were all lovely (esp the Mexican and Steak restaurants) staff very friendly, resort is very clean and tidy with staff always cleaning. Lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be returning!

This property was absolutely stunning!! Definitely enjoyed staying here. The rooms were gorgeous, pool was amazing, extremely friendly staff, and they had a nice spa! Overall 5 out of 5. Only thing that was a little disappointing was the beach for the guests. Certainly wasn’t what we expected. Very rocky, and not a great place to enjoy the ocean as there’s walls/barriers right in front of where the Stella Island guests sit. However, not a big deal. We just went to a nearby beach about 20 minutes away via taxi, and it was awesome. This place is gorgeous and we’d highly recommend it.

Everything about this place is 5 stars. The a la carte dining options are incredible with 5 restaurants to choose from, all offering very different cuisine. The cocktails are made fresh and are excellent quality. There is an outdoor gym for CrossFit style training and a well equipped indoor gym. The room was excellent - we had the premium swim up. Our deck was in the shade most of the day which may bother some people, but we were happy to use it as a break from the sun. And there are plenty of sun loungers available. The resort felt spacious and quiet despite being fully booked. Staff are very attentive and friendly. If we had to be constructive, one criticism would be the buffet - we enjoyed the breakfast. Lunch and dinner are ok, but the variety isn't huge and quality was hit or miss. However, there are several restaurant options for lunch as well where the food is guaranteed to be great. We will definitely be going back, it's an excellent resort for couples.

Perfect stay

Wow! I only stayed one night because I’d read bad reviews saying it was noisy and full of annoying influencers. I think you pay more and get more. I was in a bungalow and it was pure bliss. Marina, my concierge, really helped me to maximise my stay and was amazing. I loved not having to fight people for sun loungers at 7am with towels. I loved how private the bungalow was. The only downside for me was I think if I stayed longer I’d come back fat, the food was amazing and all inclusive just makes you want to try things and eat lots. I’m not really a drinker, maybe one, so this was a bit of a waste for me. Gym was pretty decent but closed at 7 which is really early. Overall it was brilliant, super expensive but worth it for something special. I’ll stay longer next time I go, I think 5 nights is ideal

Everything is exactly as you expect! All of the staff we have interacted with have been the most caring and attentive people I have ever met, especially at the Makuti bar day in day out they even recommended us some films to watch. The pictures of the place you see are exactly what you get. If you are like us and do not often experience people waiting on you hand and foot it’s a surreal experience but something that makes the trip So amazing. The dining experience - just WOW! Food I have never tasted to be so amazing! Always have the lamb medium rare you won’t regret it. Welcome drinks on arrival and they let you enjoy everything how you want to not how they expect you too. I can’t thank everyone enough for my stay it’s been something I’ll never forget and nothing will live up to this. If you have the chance to come - you won’t regret it!!
