"The location was central, close to the Old Town and walking distance to the port. However, the bed was too soft and my mother has a bad back so we slept on the floor. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. The pillows were lumpy. I went hiking to Pulpit Rock and got back pain after two nights of poor sleep. "Great hotel in the centre of Stavanger close to all attractions. Clean and comfortable, with large rooms and big windows. Breakfast, fika and dinner were part of the booking, which made our stay in Stavanger much simpler. The breakfast buffet has lots of options, with good coffee and quality teas also to choose from. Dinner is a single main changing every day, along with choices salads and soups. Overall we were very impressed by the hotel. Being in the centre of town there is a bit of noise at the weekend from the pubs below."

"I booked this hotel since it said it had parking. I stayed here at the beginning of my trip and I was able to get a spot. But on my return at the end of my trip there was no available parking. I had researched and there was a 24 Hour garage about a 7 minute walk so that was not bad. I felt safe in that garage. Just at the end of the day and $380 a night it would have been great to have parking at the hotel even though you pay separately for it. Staff is great. Very clean hotel. They have a delicious breakfast. The hotel is great. I would stay again. Just be aware though parking can be available you should be prepared to park elsewhere and walk to hotel."
