"The area is picturesque with nice views of the mountains. There are two supermarkets and a petrol station close by. The interchange for the highway is 2 minutes away. There are a number of restaurants fairly close. The yakiniku restaurant gets booked up pretty quick so be sure to make a reservation. The former Sanada residence and military school are worth taking a look at too. They are just a couple of minutes away. The hotel itself is fresh and clean, with free sparkling wine, beer and snacks...

Facilities were clean and tidy. I also had the chance to dine in at their Mash Cafe - it was a nice, cozy ambiance and the food and drinks were delicious.
