Room was filthy not mention lobby had no one there for over an hour 20 minutes so we couldn’t check in til late then got horrible directions to our room and were outside going from building to building trying to find our room just to get inside the room and it looked like it hadn’t even been clean. Oh and they charged us a $300 deposit

Great location. Close to restaurants and stores for basic needs. Beautiful beach and nice pool. However, the room was shabby and needed updating. The shower didn’t have much water pressure. It was fairly noisy until late at night - the rooms must have very thin walls because you could hear everything. Overall not terrible but also not great.

When we booked this property, we were never told that there was going to be construction the entire time. It was noisy and it smelled. Our room was far from the pool and ocean and the maid rarely came to check on us. We had to go find her when we needed toilet paper for our room.

this property is somehow connected the Sirrata its a older property and couid use a lot of general updating ...the rooms were clean as far as counters showers but corners trim etc are overlooked ..none of the room are directly facing the ocean but you can see at a 90 degree angle .. the problem with this hotel is the ridicules fees they hook you with a lower rate then nail you with a $45 per day day resort fee that is for the use of there room phone and other made up stupidly....then on top of that $25 to park your own car ...add that to the price of there lower rate another thing that really shock me was wanting to have a beer poolside is the insane price ...$10 for a 12oz plastic cup of draft beer ..add $6 for a well drink

You're paying for the location, and that's it. If you just want a room to crash at night, then it's sufficient enough... But don't expect anything beyond that. Make sure to wear slippers because the floors are disgusting; I went barefoot at first, until I realized the bottom of my feet were black! There was urine at the base of the toilet. Room service makes the bed, but doesn't actually change the sheets. They didn't replace the coffee, which was annoying when you wake up and realize you don't have coffee. Then you go down to the front desk to request more, but no one is there. Went down to the beach, where they had tons of beach chairs available, assuming they're provided by the hotel as part of the cost of amenities... But nope! As soon as we got comfortable in the chairs, a hotel staff member came over to tell us we had to pay $20 (per person) to use the chairs. Are you kidding me?! I read it was an extra charge for the cabanas, but the chairs?! Overall, disappointed by the entire stay. Had I know, I would have paid the extra money to stay somewhere nicer. Would not recommend.

Room needed to be updated. Bathroom sink looked like it had been painted. Paint was cracked and peeling. Curtains were wrinkled and stained. $40 per day resort fee added on. Tried to charge me $25 dollars a day for parking at the hotel. Never heard of such a thing! I had a meltdown and it was lowered to $3 a day. Should have been zero! Beach is awesome. Pool was warm.

Don’t let Expedia fool you with the perfect photos. This property is currently under construction and the entire time all we heard were cement trucks and drilling. The beach was closed off due to the construction. We had absolutely no idea this was happening before booking. Also, they have a few different buildings. We were given a room in one of the buildings that is set to be demolished soon. The sliding glass door croaked and groaned as we tried to pry it open. The elevators were dirty with what looked like pee stains on the floor, not to mention the glass. Buyer beware.

Patron sitting in a lounge on the pool deck smoking at the pool. No room service - supposed to get coffee - 2 bottles of water daily - never received anything. Went to front desk get a comforter as there were none on the beds - waited 30 minutes then after 4 hours we still didn’t have them delivered. Music at Harry’s bar was very loud as we sat on our balcony. Door was paper thin and noise from people walking past our room every morning very loud. Construction site on the premises- would have been nice to know about this. Parking fee that was also an extra fee.Arrived after 4 pm - room not ready - staff said they’d call and text when room ready - at 6pm no call or text we went to the front desk and finally got into our room. Room was filled with dust- on end tables - cupboards etc - very old and outdated - desperately needs updating. Locals parking and entering the resort without paying was observed daily.

Room was semi clean but in poor condition Badly stained furniture,drapery Didn’t want to set on furniture Entire facility was not very clean with beach construction going on constantly with not notified when reservation was made Will Not Stay Again POOR! For the money

room was in poor condition, flooring was buckled, door would not open at railing to enjoy the ocean air, and other aged condition. It was also susposed to be an ocean front multiple bed room and we got a ocean view at best. The main restaraunt listed was not open and we had to go to other places for dinner and breakfast. Much construction going on making it difficult to enjoy views and the noised started too early. We stayed here approximately 5 times in past years and had enjoyable stays, but not this time. I do plan on going further with reviews in different sites so others can beware, Expedia is the other culprit in this as this is where I purchased the room.

The microwave did not work nor did an outlet By the sink. House keeping was inconsistent with restocking the coffee and water and the floor felt like it wasn’t swept all week The body wash was empty when we got there and was never replaced or refilled until the day before we left Charged us a daily fee for parking, which most resorts include in their resort fees Charges for beach chairs and umbrella were extremely high, not many people using this service due to the high prices Love the location and the beach-food at Rum Runners was great.

I chose sirata on Expedia based on pics and positive reviews, and Expedia changed it to st Pete shores, without my knowledge, very deceptive dirty unclean sheets with sand no crib as stated, horrible service never again will I book with Expedia, BEWARE this is a hole in wall my understanding is it is being torn down after much research, very shady practice by Expedia

Booked Sirata online and last min it switched to st Pete shores, make sure you confirm where you are staying, called and was able to be moved into the renovated Sirata not the old buildings that are now st Pete

This was our fourth time staying at this property. We were in building 4 which is more ran down than other buildings on property. When we arrived, our balcony door wouldn't open. On day 2 the bathroom light stopped working. We were told they didn't have any available rooms, yet there were clearly multiple empty rooms, including the room right next to us. Harry's Bar wasn't open most days. And they're doing construction on a new pool/restaurant area so it was very loud during the day and they have a huge beach area tarped off so you have to walk clear out and around to actually get to the beach. The morning we checked out for an early flight, they had the entrance and then all passage ways blocked off with cones and plastic. It was absurd! We watched a garbage truck try to pull in and have to reverse out, and I had to move cones so our Uber could at least pull in and turn around to pick us up. It's frustrating that they're adding on to the hotel when several areas they already have are in desperate need of renovations. We will not be back.

Upon checking in had to walk back and forth to the office (long walk) because the key was not programmed correctly. Maintenance had to come to the room to reprogram, then once the card key worked he had to break into the room because it was locked from the inside. Once we finally got in the room we immediately noticed it appeared someone had recently shaved in the bathroom because there was a lot of hair in and around the sink. Called the front desk to have it cleaned, and also coffee maker did not work and no remotes for the tv’s. Floors had not been mopped in quite some time - if we walked in the room without shoes the bottom of our feet were black. This room was disgusting. Had a second room that was not as nasty - we had bought some disposable cups, silverware, and snacks for the room and left them on the table, but the throne time we had it cleaned all of the items were either thrown out or taken.

Wiped down a small section of the floor.

Overall pretty bad unfortunately. Especially for the price. Check in the computers were down. Couldn't find my reservation. Was supposed to pay $45.20 upon arrival, was charged 121.95 and now 2 days later I've been charged another 121.95 When I booked the room it said nothing about a "partial beachview" but we were facing a construction site and had to peer over the railing to our right to see the beach. We went to the beach to escape the construction at home so a heads up that the adjacent building would be a worksite bright and early was a huge bummer. The guy with the leafblower before checkout as we were trying to enjoy some coffee was equally as irritating. The room was dirty; Floors and baseboards were disgusting and there was an inch of dust on the beside tables, lamps, clock and phone. The sink fixtures in both the bathroom and kitchen looked like they hadn't been wiped in many uses. The bed was comfy. I would never stay here again :(

Only 1 pool heated due to huge construction that had things closed. Elevator floors were disgusting. Balcony sliding door didn't slide, it was old long past needed replacement. Price per night was waaay to high for condition of this property!

I stayed at this property for a girls trip, there were 3 of us. We opted for a family suite for more room. The room had a queen bed, pull out sofa bed and bunk beds. There were no sheets on the sofa bed or the bunk beds. There were also no wash cloths in the bathroom. We had to ask 4 different times to get, sheets, wash cloths and a blanket. That was the day we arrived! The next day we had no cleaning service or clean towels. So we asked again. I did also ask if we needed to ask for this service daily and was told no, it should just be taken care of. We also ran out of toilet paper! Shelly at the front desk was wonderful! I don’t think that I would stay at this property again based on my experience.

Only had hot water for one night of our stay. We would have never booked if we had known that two out of the three restaurants weren’t even operating. And the whole beach view from the one restaurant was blocked by construction. We didn’t have any sort of sign to put on our door for housekeeping to leave us alone and she came slamming on the door at 9 o’clock in the morning and woke us up. And then the next day she was in the room next to us talking so loudly that it sounded like screaming at 8am. Linens on the bed were soooo starchy and scratchy.

Weird stay. Booked at Sirata, says St Pete Shores hotel. Never wanted to stay at St Pete Shores Hotel. Did stay at Sirata. Repeatedly got asked to pay more fees and more money no matter how many times we were told we’re settled, staff just said “our system is saying….” First night had to move rooms bc smoke detectors blink and first room was over our faces and also was told front desk can’t change our remote batteries (tv remote was dead) and they had to wait for maintenance LOL. Stay was mid and expensive w all the extra feels. 2 ppl and a car is an extra $120/night just to be at hotel. That being said, hotel was clean and staff was friendly
