"This hotel met all my requirements for a basic overnight stay and was the best price I could find locally by a distance. I would definitely book again. "

"Was upgraded to sea view room with lovely view. Bathrooom needs a refresh as does hotel generally especially restaurant area, big room with no character. Staff were polite. Bar area okay but not sure staff have been trained very well, gin and tonic in white wine glass. Restaurant food was very average and starters were awful. Very expensive wine list."

"Breakfast was amazing. The staff are very very friendly and helpful. The one downside I did have was literally I didn’t have an ensuite bathroom. I had to use a communal down the hall shower room and toilet other than that I can’t fault the place this is Jason the Chef"

"Hotel is not fit to house a dog. Blood and semen on the bed, bed made out of wood, exposed electrics, shower door that doesn’t close. Half the building had pigeons flying around inside which we seen as we pulled up. All was reported to reception and asked for a refund, which was refused. We left and booked another hotel! After 2 hours of phone calls to hotels.com they agreed to refund for our booking. "

"I would like to ask for a full refund really but I know I won't get one. We were left in property on our own and told to lock up when we come and go. The sheets on the beds were dirty. Bathroom dirty. Tea and coffee in the room but no milk. We left at half 4 in the morning with little or no sleep at all. Terrible place "

"Fresh and clean sheets on bed and lovely white towels. Friendly reception staff. Free car park with cctv. Easy check in. Easy access ground floor bedroom. Sadly our shower didnt work ( room 7). Overall a budget stay for 1 night with o ly a 15 min ride/ drive to the Eurotunnel. "

"Very clean room with plenty of tea making facilities and lots of hot water, fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. Helpful full length mirror in bedroom. Some of the communal areas look a bit tired, but staff welcoming and room was great for my needs (staying overnight in area ready for family get together). Great location for Hythe and walk along seafront short drive away."

"Friendly helpful staff. Good size room and clean. TV didn't work, it kept losing its signal and the toilet was hard to flush."

"Ok für einen Zwischenstopp aber definitiv überbewertet. Zimmer ok aber Mobiliar sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Beim Duschen geringer Wasserdruck und nur zeitweise wirklich warmes Wasser. Abendessen und Frühstück passabel. Die Lage ist perfekt aber wir übernachten beim nächsten Mal woanders!"

"Really enjoyed staying in the room that was on 2 floors. Great view of the sea. Room was OK. needs updating as does the rest of the hotel. The lift is very small. Could only get 2 small people in it. Not much room for anything else. Great Indian restaurant inside the hotel. Highly recommended that. Great location just needs updating. Great staff."

"Amount of things supplied, didn't really need half the stuff we took. Excellent flat. Well equipped. Nice set up. Bonus bottle of wine. Lovely views. Apart from stairs everything was perfect, even stairs I coped with. Can't praise it enough."

"The family room was a good size and clean unfortunately the double bed had a dreadful squeak at every movement! However for one nights stay it was absolutely fine. I needed to wash and sterilise some baby bottles and despite it being 10pm the staff were very helpful and came back to give me access to the kitchen and microwave ( which again was very clean and tidy) we left too early for breakfast but I wouldn’t hesitate to book again for an overnight stop"

"I was disappointed with this stay. For the amount of money it cost, the caravan was not clean, was overcrowded and needs a lot of smarting up. You had to pay extra to have bedding which I think is unreasonable, particularly how much it cost per night anyway. Communication with the host was fine but not great. Unfortunately I won’t be recommending or returning to this property. "
