"After climbing 2 flights of stairs and entering the room we felt really disappointed. The bed linen had not been ironed and was really creased up. It made me question if it had been changed at all. The coat hangers where all different which didn't look nice. The toilet seat was loose. The housekeepers didn't ask if we needed anything as we stayed 2 nights. The owner walked into our room looking for the housekeepers and didn't knock, however he did get a fan for us for the second night as it was...

"Overnight stay for euro tunnel which was perfect as 20 mins away. However, hotel going through a much needed refurb. Room was okay but the bed was softer than a marshmallow. Food was good though in restaurant and the girl serving was extremely polite and lovely."

Upon arriving at the hotel, we were told by the person at the reception that we had not paid enough to Expedia and that if we were to stay at the price (already paid), he would not be making money.
