"I always stay in Hampton Inn in Florida, this one was a little disappointing, the room wasn’t clean, the carpet was dirty and felt sticky and dirty. The property is not well maintained, they can do better, Hampton Inn usually has a much better standards, I felt like it was a cheap hotel / motel, didn’t like it this time. Hampton Inn / Hilton can do better. The staff was friendly, but the room really need to be updated and clean."

"We just needed a place to stay for the night and it did the job. It wasn’t the worst place I’ve stayed in, but neither the best. I liked how close it was to the beach and the park across the street. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay overall. It was just the bathroom the needed some upkeep."

"I went down over memorial Day weekend. The location is very good if you want to go into town or go to the beach you're kind of in between. Easy to get to. The issue is with the towels and the room. We're only given two towels, and they were thin as paper and as scratchy as glass on sandpaper. The air conditioner was very loud and to make the room comfortable it had to be set very low. The TV remote control was just basically a pain in the ass. And the TV was poor quality ."

"Loved sitting on the patio in the evening and watching the ships and sailboats. Easy to get downtown and so many unique shops. Loved rain water shower head and soft towels and wash rags. The bed and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud and felt so good after shopping all day! The breakfast was made with care and very tasty. Staff were all very helpful and friendly."

"We had such a wonderful stay at The Collector Luxury Inn & Gardens. The location honestly could not have been better. Everything in downtown St. Augustine was so walkable, which made the whole trip feel relaxed instead of like some sweaty Florida parking scavenger hunt designed by demons. One of the coolest parts of staying here is that the property is made up of historic homes, and hearing the stories behind them added so much character to the experience.
