"This was our second time staying at this hotel. Our first stay (11/2025) was absolutely amazing so we were excited to come back. Unfortunately, it was not the same experience. When we arrived the front desk over night staff was rude and unhelpful. When we asked for a late check out (due to arriving at 1:30 am) she stated it would be an extra $25 upcharge, although on the website it stated there is a $0 upcharge for late check out. "Best Western Seaside was a great overnight stay. The young lady at the front desk was friendly and attentive. The beach is right across the street. We did not use the breakfast buffet or the pool/hot tub. I would recommend for a short stay in St. Augustine Beach. Check out Cafe Eleven down the road. Great food, service and music events."

"Room was cleanish. You could see where the soap areas were not clean. Could still see the buildup where the last ones were placed. No chain on the front door. No beach view. It’s across the street, was told hotel was on the beach. Toilet issues, it wouldn’t refill tank after flush, for several minutes to an hour. Mold rust build up against the outer wall of the shower. Parking was great.staff were fine, no issues. I would not come back to this one. "
